Summer Camp:
Ages 6 - 14. All experience levels welcome!
We keep our camps small to ensure a valuable learning experience. We only allow up to 12 campers, unlike many other camps in our area.
Each camper gets one on one attention during riding and demonstrations and will be sure to get the most out of a week of camp at Paradox Country Farm. Campers will learn how to properly control a horse and not just have a "pony ride" experience.
Deposit of $75 due at time of Registration
Remaining $300 due Monday of Camp
**EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: $100 off if registering for ALL 3 Camps by Feb 15th**
Daily riding: Campers will participate in up to two hours of riding and horse handling in our arena and trails.
Basic horse care: Campers will learn and practice how to tack and un-tack a horse, how to bathe a horse, how to braid a horse's mane for competition, and how to wrap legs to prepare for safe travel.
Safety: Campers will practice safe emergency dismounts, how to safely lead a horse, and safety when handling horses.
Games: Campers will play a variety of games to reinforce riding skills and make learning fun!
Arts and Crafts: Campers will learn how to paint obstacles that horses jump, decorate horse shoes, and an addition art project. Campers will be tested on the body parts of the horse with fun painting exercises. Crafts change each session as well as each year.
